The Amish reject modern technology because they believe it can lead to a weakening of their community and values. They prioritize simplicity, humility, and self-sufficiency, which they feel can be compromised by the distractions and conveniences of modern technology. Additionally, they believe that embracing certain technologies can lead to a distancing from their faith and a reliance on worldly possessions rather than on their community and God. Ultimately, the rejection of modern technology is a way for the Amish to preserve their traditional way of life and maintain their strong sense of community and faith. **

Modern technology can be seen as both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it has greatly improved our lives by making communication, transportation, and access to information more efficient. It has also led to advancements in medicine, education, and entertainment. However, it has also brought about negative consequences such as increased screen time, privacy concerns, and the potential for addiction. Ultimately, the impact of modern technology depends on how it is used and managed. **

Some series that are similar to Modern Family or New Girl include "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," which is a comedy series with a diverse ensemble cast and quirky characters, and "The Mindy Project," which features a strong female lead navigating the ups and downs of life and love. Additionally, "Parks and Recreation" is another series with a mockumentary style and a focus on the relationships and dynamics within a workplace setting. These shows all share the same comedic tone and focus on the dynamics of a group of characters. **
