It is difficult to determine if the encounter was fate without more information. Fate implies a predetermined outcome that is beyond human control. If the encounter was the result of a series of random events or choices made by the individuals involved, then it may not be considered fate. However, if there were unexplainable coincidences or a sense of inevitability surrounding the encounter, then it could be interpreted as fate. Ultimately, the perception of fate is subjective and can vary depending on individual beliefs and perspectives. **

The vastness of space and the limitations of our current understanding of physics may prevent us from ever being able to travel to other star systems or for aliens to reach us. However, as technology continues to advance, there may be new possibilities for communication or exploration that could potentially allow us to encounter aliens in the future. **
